Boxing Head Guards
You will likely get struck in the head in the boxing ring at some point, therefore you must always wear a head protection to shield yourself from shock and concussion. There is no reason to put yourself at risk for harm by not wearing protective head gear in regular sparring sessions or in amateur competition fights. Although headshots are permitted and sparring is enjoyable and beneficial to training, it’s also very necessary to protect oneself. Sparring is a great way to practice your defence and to develop your techniques. It also provides you a realistic notion of what it feels like to take a blow to the head or face, which improves resilience. When sparring, it’s best to include headshots as long as you are properly covered with a top-rated boxing head guard.
